Alberto Palaveri

With a degree in Chemistry at Milan’s University, he began his work experience in 1996 performing technical tasks at the Sacchital production site, in the production of flexible packaging with customers in both Italian and foreign food sector. In 2004 he takes over the technical management of the company. After an MBA at SDA Bocconi, in 2009 he is appointed CEO of Akerlund & Rausing: a company of the group in financial straits, which in the following year manages to close the balance sheet with positive figures growing to have a 2020 EBITDA expected above 12%. Over the years he has maintained roles of responsibility at the headquarters of the parent company Sacchital participating since 2008 in the Board of Directors, with various delegations and managing the acquisition of two new companies. Since July 2020 he has been Sacchital Group CEO.  Active in the association’s world, in November 2020 he became President of Giflex (the Association that brings together flexible packaging manufacturers).
